I am proud to announce that “Jesus” won a Merit Award at the Atlanta Artists Center 7th Annual National Juried Exhibition. This is a very hard exhibit to get accepted into, even harder to win an award. It was in very good company, as there was a ton of excellent work in this exhibit. The crowd was amazing, standing room only and nowhere to move. Thanks to the Atlanta Artists Center for a great exhibit.

“Last Exit” exhibit opens at Zucot Gallery in September. The opening reception is September 10, 2010, 6-10 PM. The gallery is located at 100 Centennial Olympic Park Drive, Atlanta, GA, just south of Phillips Arena. This will be my first solo show in Atlanta and would greatly appreciate any and all support you could give me. I am very excited about this opportunity to show my work. The exhibit will consist of my abandoned interiors and also my fringe people photos. It should be a great show, so I hope to see as many of you as possible on September 10th.
The exhibit will run September 1 – October 30, 2010, the gallery hours are Tuesday – Friday 3-9 PM, Saturday 12-7 PM, Sunday and Monday by appointment.

“Golden Staircase” is one of the five images that I have in the exhibit opening this Saturday August 7, 2010. The opening reception is from 5-7PM at the Blue Ridge Art Center (the old courthouse) in downtown Blue Ridge. I would love to see any of my friends who live in the area or might be visiting at the reception. You won’t be disappointed as there are about 100 pieces from the North Georgia Artists Association group in the exhibit.
This is the last post for the week, as I am leaving early tomorrow morning for Blue Ridge. I will be blogging again on Monday. Hope to see some of you in Blue Ridge.
